The Triangle Young Architects Forum | Emerging Professionals is a subcommittee of the American Institute of Architects Triangle Chapter. The organization focuses on the professional and personal development of interns and young architects in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region of North Carolina. We strive to aid young architects in the transition from graduation to licensure and beyond.

Following up on the excitement of Structures for Inclusion’s Raleigh Conference the AIA Triangle is offering a workshop for architects who are interested in grant writing.

 A half-day grant writing workshop will consist of two parts:

 Grant Writing Intro Session: A quick overview of the basic concepts of Grant Writing and what selections committees are looking for when reviewing submissions.

Presenters: Sarah Powers, Executive Director of VAE and Tanja Bean, Executive Director of AIA Triangle.

 Grant Case Studies Session: This session will cover the two highly competitive Tiger Grants and as well as the Burt's Bees grant secured by the UDC for Union Station.

Presenters: Roberta Fox, Assistant Manager of UDC and our Beth Nooe.
