Emerging Professionals

The Triangle Young Architects Forum | Emerging Professionals is a subcommittee of the American Institute of Architects Triangle Chapter. The organization focuses on the professional and personal development of interns and young architects in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region of North Carolina. We strive to aid young architects in the transition from graduation to licensure and beyond.

The Annual Fall Membership meeting is an excellent opportunity for members to connect with each other, meet the AIA Triangle board and leadership, and network with our sponsors. Be part of an evening of sharing, networking, and appreciation as we recognize the architects featured in the 2016 Tour of Residential Architecture, honor 2016 award recipients, and share our vision for the AIA Triangle. All attendees receive one continuing education credit.

Public transportation is vital for economic development and creating vibrant, walkable communities, especially in fast growing metro regions.  Wake County finally has a plan to expand and improve public transit that would also connect the Triangle region.  Come learn about the Wake Transit Plan, the public transportation referendum on the Wake County ballot this election, and why transit can benefit our community.
