Michael Ermann - Environmental Systems Seminar

  • NC AIA Center for Architecture and Design 14 E Peace St Raleigh, NC, 27604 United States (map)

This is a two and a half day course to prepare for those intending to take the ARE Building Systems section. The seminar is comprehensive and meant to replace study for the exam.  It is expected that with some review, most participants will be ready to take the exam within two weeks of the course. In addition to base content, the program includes a session dedicated to practicing the vignette.

Michael Ermann is an engaging speaker and a skilled teacher.  He makes the material interesting using photos, stories, videos, and even physical demonstrations of building components.  He is extremely knowledgeable about the material and is the author of one of the leading study BDCS resources, the Amber Book.

Rather than initiating studying, this class REPLACES studying for most people.
